Dear Dagny,
This morning you decided to wake up at 6:05 am... nearly 2 hours before your usual time! It was perfect for me as I had forgotten to set an alarm for work and your whimpers were a timely wake up call. Unfortunately, it wasn't so convenient for your Dad as he was sound asleep and had to get up and take care of you - while I was frantically getting ready for work.
Nothing about the routine that followed was out of the ordinary - Dad layed you down in our bed and gave you a bottle... you finished the bottle and wailed when we took it away to refill it... and were subsequently pacified when he gave it back to you. And then, in order to make it painful to leave to go to work and leave you both, you and your Dad cuddled up and were fast asleep in just a few minutes.

One of my favorite places to be is cuddled up with the both of you, although I like adding Sirius Black to the equation and your father does not, and in that moment I was so supremely jealous of you both and just wanted to play hooky and curl up under the covers with you!
I hope you have a great day at Marsha's and your father has a productive day at Leadership orientation... as for me, I'm already in the office trying to get everything done so I can get home to you on time!
Love,
Mom
p.s. Now that you've mastered holding the bottle for yourself, we've become quite amused with the messes you are making. Here's a photo of the results of your antics last night...
